> A schedule layer can now be a shift, with its own days and start and end times, and a coverage bar shows which hours of the day nobody is on call for.

### Shifts
- A schedule layer can be a **shift**: choose the days it runs and a start and end time, for example nights from 00:00 to 08:00.
- Shifts can run through midnight, for example 22:00 to 06:00 the next morning.
- A layer with no shift still runs around the clock, as before.
- A coverage bar above the layers shows who holds which part of the day, and names any hours when nobody is on call.

### Fixed
- A rota now starts on the day you picked, whatever your browser's time zone, and the **Currently on call** banner shows the right person from the first day.
